Driver Conduct
1.1 ALL drivers must be respectful to others, making sure that no line is crossed in terms of abuse or discrimination.
1.2 ALL drivers who have witnessed or received abuse or discrimination have a duty to make admin aware of such issues, so that issues can be dealt with accordingly.
1.3 We encourage drivers to reach common ground and have understanding where possible for the better of the league. Instigating arguments or inciting anger or hate is irresponsible and will be dealt with.
1.4 Equality should be at the forefront of what we do. This means that no driver should be belittled by either a driver or group as we are all equal. There must also be equal opportunity for every driver in the league.
Racing Standards
2.1 Drivers must race with clean and fair intentions. See below for incidents deemed as unfair and intentional.
2.2 Following on from point above (1.1), you are not allowed to weave with a car closely following or change direction in a braking zone. This is however permitted under a safety car.
2.2a Under the safety car it is the duty of the car behind to leave the correct gap. The driver in front must drive to a fair pace and not brake harshly causing an incident behind.
2.3 Following on from point above (1.1), you are not allowed to force a driver off track resulting in a collision with barrier/wall or if it is deemed aggressive and dangerous.
2.4 The defending driver is not allowed to brake check an opponent. Doing so will result in an investigation and if there is clear evidence this is to cause a crash, it will be taken further. The car behind also has a duty to not break too late causing an incident involving the driver in front.
2.5 Cutting a corner intentionally to get a run and subsequently overtake the lead car is not permitted, any position should be given back at the nearest opportunity.
2.6 A back marker must move out the way when being lapped leaving room and doing so in an appropriate part of the track.
3.1 Drivers must not crash intentionally as this may cause VSC or Safety Car resulting in a change in the flow of the race
3.2 DNF in any intentionally way through a crash or retirement will result in warnings and consequently penalties
3.3 Drivers who cause an incident on purpose to change the course of the race i.e to help a team mate, or themselves in the course of the race will face penalties.
3.4 Team mates are allowed to work together, which means penalties will not be given for drivers swapping positions or using each other to gain DRS in either qualifying or the race.
Racing Procedures
4.1 If a driver is having issues with constant LAG and it is effecting people at any point either in qualifying or the race, he will be asked to retire in the pit lane, to avoid his car going having an effect on the race.
4.2 If a driver disconnects during qualifying and they are unable to re-join the session, a red flag will be given. We can then re-start the session after qualifying with a custom grid that is the same as the qualifying results.
4.3 Before the start of the race, there will be a 5 minute break to give people a chance to get themselves prepared. Anyone who does not follow this will be asked to talk to the stewards and penalties could be applied.
4.4 If a disconnection happens during the loading screen or 5 minute break before the start of the race, there will be a restart to the session with the custom grid set to qualifying results. Once a race has started, there will be no restarts for disconnections, unless half the grid disconnect during the first 3 laps.
4.5 Should there be a restart, the weather will be set to dynamic and may differ from the weather in the previous lobby.
4.6 There will be a maximum of 2 restarts for any race weekend. A mass disconnect before 75% will result in the race being void. After this, full points will be given as the race currently stands using the positions on the stream.
4.7 A driver can rejoin the race if he disconnects. He must not be placed any higher than when he disconnected, if he is he must return to his position, or be disqualified at the end of the race. Should the person have gained a position due to someone else ahead crashing, he can continue from that gained place. All drivers have a responsibility to make sure that they report anyone not following this rule.
5.1 Drivers must not retire during qualifying unless they are in the pits. Drivers must not retire during the race without good reason or they will face penalties.
5.2 A driver must complete 90% of the race to recieve any points.
5.3 Drivers that jump the start must return back to their starting position as soon as possible. A 20 second penalty will be applied to anyone who fails to return ALL the positions. They must also serve any in game penalties.
5.4 The track is defined by the white lines running along both edges of the tarmac. Having all 4 wheels over these lines will be deemed as extending track limits. In most cases you will recieve in games warnings/penalties
5.5 If a driver goes beyond this white line, he must return to the track safely. If an incident is caused returning unsafely, you are at risk of being taken to the stewards.
5.6 Penalties for track limits will in most cases be dealt with through in game penalties. If it is particularly excessive and used frequently to gain track position either through an overtake or the pit stop phase, then this will be noted by the stewards and investigated.
